MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (WJBK) – The Central Michigan student accused of murdering his parents has been arrested.
Sometime after midnight police took 19-year-old James Eric Davis into custody said an officer with Mount Pleasant Public Safety.
No further details are available at this time except to say Davis was arrested without incident. One other comment regarding this University; Central Michigan University is a wholly seperate school from Universite of Michigan. Wording in early reports could be construed to mean CMU is a “central” campus associated with UofM; this is not the case.

Who is James Eric Davis Jr?
A 2016 graduate of Plainfield Central High School Plainfield, IL, where he attended his senior year. Prior to that Davis was a student at Plainfield South High School. Those who knew him, from coaches to team mates to friends all have described Davis as a quiet, normal high school student and a good friend. The Davis family was a loving family and one friend recalled a tweet from last week, “family is everything” posted by Davis on his twitter timeline.
