One America News Network wrote about Facebook’s effort to clarify the content rules to clear up confusion and answer government, activist’s and user complaints. Vice President Monika Bickert, had this to say
“You should, when you come to Facebook, understand where we draw these lines and what’s OK and what’s not OK,”
Bickert told Reuters that the standards are constantly evolving.
“Everybody should expect that these will be updated frequently…”
Sooo, jn14 is just wondering how knowing the standards and a constantly evolving set of standards will work, practically. Is there a built in mechanism to redline policy breaking phrases, words or paragraphs? Or will users have to compose, copy/paste into a screen to proof prior to posting, similar to the plagerism checker for college papers?
Will there be an app for that?
